The 3rd Cholangiocarcinoma Golf Challenge Charity Golf Tournament

 The 3rd Cholangiocarcinoma Golf Challenge charity golf tournament was held on February 4th 2018 at the  Ubonrat Dam Golf Course in Khon Kaen, Thailand.  The funds and donations that were raised will go to the Curative Liver Resection Surgery Program at Khon Kaen University. The program intends to perform 500 curative resection and 150 palliative resection surgeries through to December 31 2018. The surgeries will be performed at 4 tertiary hospitals throughout the northeast region of Thailand. We hope to help patients survive cholangiocarcinoma with curative liver resection surgery and share in the merit of saving lives.

Khon Kaen University, Annual Esarn Agricultural Festival January 22- 29 2017, the 10 day festival brings together industry, science, farmers, and consumers. CASCAP along with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation of Thailand operated an exhibit to highlight the work, research, and progress of CASCAP while raising awareness to overcome the threat of Liver Fluke and Cholangiocarcinoma. The exhibit was sponsored by Crown Property Bureau and help a Sum Tum (papaya salad) competition hosted by Thailand Grammy Gold singer Mike Pirompon who produces his own brand of Pla Ra (fermented fish sauce) which is cooked and is free from liver fluke contamination.
