Early detection is crucial for the best chances of treatment and survival of CCA. Together with the Cholangiocarcinoma Screening and Care Program, we work as a mobile screening program on tour across the north and northeastern regions of Thailand, to provinces with high risk group populations, and provide free CCA screening. The people that the program benefits most are from rural impoverished areas with limited access to medical care and are unable to afford the cost of medical attention. The program brings access to skilled health care professionals and state of the art imaging technology to people who are at risk of the disease. The program also advocates for CCA awareness and provides education about the disease to everyone
